How much raw food should I feed my pet?

The Rule of Thumb (or paw):

Calculate the exact quantity your pet needs with the following equations:

  • Adult Dogs: For a healthy adult dog, feed your pet 2%–3% of their body weight, daily. 
  • Highly Active Dogs, Puppies, Nursing Puppy Moms: For extremely active dogs, puppies, and nursing mothers feed your pet 4% – 5% of their body weight, daily.

*This calculation is for a fully raw food diet, and is calculated in pounds (lbs.)

The Rule of Thumb (or paw):

When it comes to bones, the larger the better:

  • Mouth Size: Always order a a bone that is larger than your dog's mouth.
  • Choking Hazard: As with any toy, there is a chance of it becoming a choking hazard. 
  • Size Up: There is a minimized choking hazard with larger bones. Plus it will keep them busier much larger!.

*To be safe, never leave your pooch alone with their raw bone. Keeping an eye on them will ensure there is no chance of choking.
